UNPHU has a splendorous campus of more than 250,000 square meters, strategically located in one of the best areas of the city of Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic. The UNPHU Campus reflects a perfect balance and harmony between nature and our buildings.

It houses more than 15 buildings where seven faculties operate, offering more than 60 academic programs at the undergraduate, graduate and continuing education levels. We have:

  • Veterinary Clinic.
  • Dental Clinic.
  • Central Library, a symbol of our University.
  • Modern Horacio Álvarez Saviñón main auditorium.
  • The different laboratories, which provide services to all our academic programs.
  • National Brain Bank, which is the first research center for neurodegenerative diseases in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean.
  • Baseball and soccer fields, three tennis courts and a multi-purpose facility for basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer.
  • Fully identified with our environmental program called: Pienso en Verde, most of our buildings have solar panels that generate electricity for the daily operation of our campus.

We have access to two of the main avenues of the capital city: John F. Kennedy Ave. on the south side and Los Proceres Ave. on the north side.

The humanistic spirit of Pedro Henríquez Ureña, name given to the University to honor the great philosopher, humanist and man of letters of the Dominican Republic, is always present at UNPHU. That is why our motto reads:

«Everyone who has something to teach or learn will be welcome.»

All are welcome!
